[Looks like someone forgot to check the privacy settings before posting an entry to a personal blog. (Or maybe the Guide was being "helpful" again.)]

I thought being an ultrasound technician would be dull, but it was certainly better than some of the alternatives. Of course I didn't consider the alien factor. You'd think I'd remember that by now. Some of the things I've seen in just a few days have been incredible. I'll be learning quite a bit about alien anatomy. In some cases, more than I ever wanted to know.

Speaking of hospitals, It looks like we might get this refugee clinic going after all. We have some space in the hospital to use, and we even have a name now: Refugee's Haven Medical Clinic. (Or RHMC, which I'm probably going to keep thinking is 'Royal something Medical Corps', at least for a while.)

The one thing I'm concerned about is how we're going to get supplies. We have enough money from the charity event to purchase things for now, but that won't last forever. I'm considering going over to the derelict ship and seeing what I can find. It sounds like there's at least enough life support to explore some of the main areas of the ship.

There's been some disturbing broadcasts from that ship though. Seems it's not quite as deserted as they thought. Honestly though, I'm more worried about possibly ending up without gravity or life support. My army training didn't cover being an astronaut.
