[ if you're flipping through the Guide, you might come across a broadcast of Channel 5 news! If you decide to actually watch this news segment, you may notice two familiar girls. Xion is right in front of the camera, microphone in hand, while Naminé is seen farther in the back, peering inside a room.
when Xion speaks, her voice sounds a little awkward; if one pays close enough attention, they can probably tell that it's because she's reading off cue cards provided by the cameraman. ]
Today on Channel 5 news, we bring you updates on the S.S. Sigrun situation. Our team has been assigned to investigate the Residental District, where strange signals have been being set off for the past few days.
[ at that, there seems to be a strange (but very low) sound coming from the room that the blonde girl is looking into. ]
Hey, Xion...?
[ she shoots a nervous glance at Naminé and is about to respond, but the cameraman hisses at Xion to continue since they're still rolling. ]
Um... our sources currently show that these messages have been broadcast steadily once an hour, and are in an unknown language, possibly encrypted.
[ despite the cameraman's refusal to pay it any attention, Naminé still seems rather concerned. And then she runs toward Xion, tackling the girl to the ground. It looks as if somehow something inside one of the rooms had ignited because there is a giant, action movie approved explosion going on.
the camera violently shakes for a while, and the cameraman lets out a scream before dropping it. The picture goes out when it hits the ground. The screen remains black for a couple of minutes, but fortunately, the girls are able to get back on the network using one of their own Guides. They're both fine, other than a couple of scratches. ]
Did he just... run away?
( ooc: Yoshimori is eventually going to run into them, but besides that it'll just be the girls replying to you for the most part! :C )
