I hope everyone is doing okay! We're really sorry that had to happen. B-but we - I mean, I should say, our search teams - recovered the Sigrun's black box! We're in the process of decoding it, and we should have it ready for everyone to listen to by the time we reach the next planet! S-so everyone, please take some time for yourselves to rest and recover. We know this past month wasn't easy, and we really, really appreciate everyone's help, hard work, and time. We'll be getting in touch with our recovery teams soon, too, s-so...um...yes.

Welcome to the 1950s!
× A lot of the changes this month are fairly cosmetic - Your characters will notice a lot of 50s-style diners, boutiques, and so forth have popped up literally overnight and now look as if they've always been there.
× Suddenly a lot of the NPCs are speaking in nearly incomprehensible 50's slang! If you think that sounds groovy, you can force it on your character for some zany lols.
× Don't limit the 50s experience to the American stereotypes (though of course you're more than welcome to do that if that is what you'd like to do). Bring up some other cultures! Invent new alien ones! Go nuts!
Basically, feel free to do as much or as little with this event as you want. Depending on player response, the event will end either Wednesday or Thursday (the 30th or 31st) next week, at which time we'll finish out the Sigrun plot with the dramatic Black Box Reveal!
