[Keeping her blindfold in place, she turns and brandishes the laser gun]
I'm testing these this month. Why don't you give it a shot?
[HIS HANDS IMMEDIATELY SHOOT STRAIGHT UP, as if he were being held up]
N-No no, it's okay! I don't like guns!!
I said take it.
[She says this in the same barking tone she uses for command; not the sort of voice to be refused]
[He gulps and clumsily takes the laser gun from her hand. Okay Shinpachi, it's just like playing House of the De*d. With a live laser pistol.]
U-Um...okay...what now?
[She sheds her blindfold and stares him resolutely in the face.]
I want you to shoot me.
[Dead silence. In that span of time, she manages to note the glowing display of his Guide at a nearby table. Flustered, she stalks toward it to turn it off.]
[ooc: green is Une and blue is Shinpachi; Holmes would know what's going on here since Une threaded with him about it. The laser gun was disabled before she handed it to Shinpachi but he doesn't know that. c8 The whole point of the test is taking the shot with confidence because you're smart enough to know that your future employer is testing your character and, thus, would have to be alive to tell you so. It's basically a test where you have to realize you're being tested if that makes any sense?]
