Well, they look different, for one. But mostly, they have special abilities!

It depends on what kind of Pokemon, actually. For instance, some of them will have abilities based on natural elements, such as water and fire!

Well, back in the old days, Pokemon were considered magical creatures, yes! There's no way to be absolutely sure, though-- not that it matters much.
