[The guide shows a pile of broken furniture, most of which have the odd broken or snapped leg, arm. You name it it's most likely broken. Finnian comes over and picks up his guides, staring at it for a good few moments.]

Uhhhh, I don't think I'm doing this right still. When you test furniture, do you test to see if it can break easily?

...Really?

[Have a brow raise. He finds it hard to believe that someone older than him wouldn't know a word like that.]

It means real. Y'know, checking to make sure it's really worth the price, that the materials are what they're supposed to be, whether it's brand name or a copy.

[Have a thinking face for a moment while it all sinks in.]

So is that what I'm meant to be doing?

[He's starting to look quite worried now if he broke real things.]

How would I know? It doesn't matter now anyway. It's all gonna have to be replaced.

Right, but if I did it wrong wouldn't that mean I'm in trouble?

If they didn't tell you what you were supposed to test, then it was their fault. You can't assume anything in a crazy place like this.
