[The Guide starts filming, showing the brightly coloured lobby of a laser tag arena. Irene is looking up to something off-screen intently, then frowns slightly. She is reading the score from the last round, and the result is not as favourable as she could have liked. All the same, she turns to America with a smile.]
Tied again, dear. Another round?

Then he realizes it's actually America...and it still doesn't make much sense, but it's entertaining.]
Having fun?

This is the first time I've been down on the planet all month. Sherlock's got a job down here somewhere.

Perhaps we could go cheer him on later. And it would be a shame not spend a little more time on this world that we will likely never see again.

What have you been up to? Besides engaging in shoot-outs that is.

[And seeing John's smile, the answer to his question comes easily. (And she has to fulfil her mental note, after all.)]
I met someone that made me very appreciative of your smile, my dear. Other than you, I seem quite conductive to meeting gentlemen who are disinclined to show a smile.

Who was this very serious person?

Mmm, his name is Castiel, and more correctly, he is a very serious angel. [She says it absolutely straight-faced, mimicking the angel's low, gravely tone for those last few words. She then shakes her head slightly.]
An angel, my dear. Wonders never cease.

Well, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

[She grins mischievously as she leads him towards the desk where he can register.]
For instance, if I might mysteriously and eternally tie with you in sharp shooting as well!
[And don't mind the slightly nervous looks the staff give them as they over hear her say that.]

[He smiles at her as he fills out the registration.]
It's possible. I haven't kept up with target practice since I've been on the ship.

Haven't you? So I may even stand a chance to out-shoot a soldier?

[She is really fired up for this.]
[After signing the waver (something along the lines of the company is not liable if you run into a wall or go blind from pointing the laser into your eye), you're good to go!
There are a variety of laser guns to choose from. Irene takes up one of the smallest there.]

Are you ready?

[She gives him a coy grin before slipping through the door into the dim labyrinth.
She had a tremendous advantage over him - she's already played many rounds in here and she has a good feel for the laser gun. However there were some elements that kept the game fresh, most notably the fact that the layout changed every round. Silently slipping around corners and up ramps, she found an alcove with a fair view of the level below and lay in wait for the bell that would signal the start of the game.
Filtering out the booming music that played throughout the arena (which conveniently - or inconveniently, depending on your perspective - covered soft sounds like footfalls), she focused her senses, keen to find John quickly.]

He takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. It's just pretend, and he knows it, but there's still a familiar feeling of anticipation. And since it is just pretend, he can enjoy it without guilt. No one is going to get hurt.
He opens the door and enters cautiously, slipping easily back into the habits of a soldier.]
