[Well it's normal for him to be called that, especially outside his own ring of friends. Here on the Thor, though... But how to even explain? In the end he just ends up nodding because what do.

[There's a very quick, blank pause. Grown. Right. Yuugi's future. Not his. He had no right to continue on assuming that name when his partner had his own life to live.

I'm not so sure it was my title. [Which is Yuugi's and not his, reminder-reminder Atem. It slows his response again just a little.] Just my presence; this place is odd that way. [As in items from his home world just popping up in sell-able areas. Or something.]

Eh. ( Well, this place certainly seems...strange. And if Johan knew the truth, about the two separate identities, he'd probably lay off, and understand, but at this point--well, Yuugi's practically a folk character in the world he's grown up in. ) This place's...well, how long've you been here? What kind of a place is it, exactly? It's pretty special and weird, obviously.

I've been here nine months. [This answer isn't thought about at all.] It's a place for refugees, as apparently everyone's worlds have been destroyed.

[That's right isn't it. Johan gets a slightly more serious look all of a sudden.] Did they say how ours was destroyed?

Yeah! Who you gave Hane Kuriboh to. He's the only Osiris at the moment.

I've only heard a little about him from someone called Marufuji Shou. We had a run-in with another ship around this time last month and he happened to be aboard. [With about half of Atem's running crew which sucked.]

Oh, Shou! Is that guy still around? He calls Juudai his older bro.

( He pauses a moment. ) But, yeah. The last thing I remember was Juudai going to check on something before passing out. He probably duelled the Darkness. --He's kind of like you, you know? Really, really special and powerful.

So I've heard. [He even wanted a duel with him for a time but... this just makes him feel like he's sitting in a conversation not meant for him. He almost feels greedy for it, like he's touching some part of home being talked to as Yuugi.

The line of thinking draws a frown to his face and a very distant look before he reels it all in.]
