003 [Video/Action if you happen to be around]
*A video feed clicks on to show New Gensokyo. The glade, to be exact. There is a large natural clearing surrounded by trees and in front of that opening is Alice, her back facing towards the feed. Several dolls are floating about the entire clearing which has been claimed by the wooden frame of what will become a western styled house. The dolls are busy at work nailing and hammering the house together while Alice herself appears to be doing nothing at all unless you manage to notice the thin wire connecting her fingers to all of the dolls, that is.
For someone with this much magic ability she could easily prepare a spell, snap her fingers, and make a western styled house appear right out of nowhere. But no, she isn't as flashy as her friend, Marisa; in the same vein she still isn't modest like Patchouli either. It's a perfect balance between the two; Alice is demonstrating her meticulous attention to detail and her skill all in one presentation. She's a show off alright but it's a different type of arrogance altogether. In a way she might be even worse than her counterpart, Marisa.
Either way, she continues on, building the whole house slowly but steadily, until all at once, all of the dolls float towards the ground together. Alice sighs, wipes off her forehead with her sleeve, and takes a swig of water from a bottle she happened to bring along. Then, and only then, she noticed the communication device, sighs, and picks it up in her free hand. She looks a bit irritated as she begins to speak.*
I really would have preferred to not have shown this off until I was done. It would have been much more impressive... what a waste.
