[When the feed turns on, the growling and VICIOUS BARKING of a possibly familiar batdog is audible in the background.]
[Before speaking up, Heero mutters, apparently to the dog.]
Knock it off.
One of you Bats- I don't care which one- [Which is totally code for NOT BRUCE BECAUSE WE ARE STILL IN A FIGHT]Come pick up your dog. He's making a ruckus

Bet you weren't expecting this really short kid with black hair and wearing sunglasses approaching you in a hoodie and jeans. Or maybe you were. But whatever.] I'm here to pick up Ace or something.

...Right. And which one are you? Not 'Tim', I take it, or Todd would be having more of a fit.
[Glaring at Ace as if to say don't you even think about trying anything when I let you out, he unlocks the cage that Ace was in, ready to defend himself if necessary 8|;;]
[...But at least Ace is still leashed.]

[LUNGES AT HEERO'S THROAT]

Which one am I? I have no idea what you're talking about, but cool story. [Half a lie. Jason only barely told him what happens so he knows there are more Robins after him. But technically, he also doesn't really know anyways.]
Come on Ace. Bruce wants you home. And I haven't gotten to play with you yet because he's stingy and didn't tell me about you. [Not that it took that much to find out about Ace in the first place.]

[Intercepts with hand!! This of course results in just a terrible bloody mess as he holds Ace's open maw with one hand, the other grasping his collar.]
[Glares back at Robin] Could you give me a hand here?

[GET YOUR OTHER HAND AWAY FROM MY THROAT]
[GROWLING AND SNARLING also hello dickie it's nice to meet you]

MIGHT AS WELL HELP. Sigh. This is not his orders. His orders was to get Ace. Maybe if you weren't such an ass Heero, he wouldn't have to deal with doing more then just orders. It's your fault obviously.]
Come on Ace. [Scratches gently behind Ace's ears.] We got to get going or I'll get in trouble with Bruce. [Because he won't get in trouble for letting you bite Heero's hand obviously.] I don't need the hours upon hours long lecture and that means I won't be able to walk you today.

[soooooft growl, because you might be a batkid but do not touch him]
[...but at least he stopped attacking Heero]

[Handing off Ace's leash to Dick, he wipes his blood-covered hand casually on his jeans] Tch, as if he actually has anything to lecture about worth listening to. [Mutter mutter I AM STILL BITTER]
--Either you're an even worse liar than the rest of them, or...
[HMMMM it could be an alternate universe- in fact the past instances pretty much guarantee it- BUT that still doesn't rule anything out hmmmm....]

I don't even know who you are. Calling a kid a liar right off the bat? That's pretty rude. I could let go of Ace's leash and pretend I 'accidentally' did and that would be rude, but I didn't. [Pets Ace's head. Good Ace. Who's a good dog for biting Heero's hand? You are!
Oh right. Rummaging in his pockets because he totally stole some dog treats from Bruce before he left. :T Not that Bruce cares. Hopefully.]

[and if you two are going to be jibberjabbering he's just going to plop down right here and eat this]

I wouldn't really care if you did. I can take care of Ace. [Yeah that's right doggy I CAN HANDLE YOU] And if you think manners are all you have to worry about here, you really must be green.
[Doopdeedoo flipping through the paperwork you have to sign to take Ace home.] ..The first one was Grayson, wasn't it...
Reply
[Doot doot, signing papers so he can get out of here.] Uh huh. I guess so. [Acting like he doesn't care. Half of him actually doesn't. But you aren't his teammates or friends. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CALL HIM BY HIS NAME BC]

You were trained the same.
..But yeah, that's basically the reason.
[Grabbing the clipboard back, he snorts and rolls his eyes.] So you're the one that grows into the batsuit, huh? I guess we all start somewhere.

I wasn't trained to play fetch or bark. Or lunge at throats. Just saying.
Do I? I wouldn't know? [He really doesn't. Jason might have mentioned it. But hell does Robin care right now.]
Reply
[Shutting Ace's cage and relocking it, he shrugs.] Obviously, if it's your future. IF it's your future. Alternate universes create that sort of problem, I suppose.
...You were trained to lunge, bark, and fetch. You were trained to go when he says go, to believe what he believes, and to fight what he fights. [Stands up again.] You are both a method to spread his ideals, and to remove the blame from himself directly.
Anyway, it's what you do with what he trained into you that matters.
