[The Guide slowly fades up on two people talking over it, a nice bit of purple sky between them and the faint sound of water softly splashing is in the background. One of the people is Balthier, and the other is the blonde woman previously seen here.
The woman is speaking in a high, lilting voice that is drawn down a bit in despair.]
...and thought all was well.
This was, until I heard about the trouble between the pirates and the police- that is, the Sky Soldiers. It seemed that I'd been terribly had, and that the one I'd been bartering with is one of these pirates. I tried to go back and buy back my items with the money given me, but was utterly refused and chased away. Now, with the Soldiers cracking down on the pirates, perhaps justice would be done, but all my treasures will be certainly confiscated when they take the pirate, and what chance is there that they could be released back to me before the Thor leaves this place-?
[The woman cuts off with a slight gasp as if she is about to cry and presses her hand to her mouth.]
[Balthier then answers:]
The only way to reason with criminals, my dear Nitsa, is to be one yourself.
[The woman looks interested and determined, but before she speaks her answer- the Guide times out.]
