I believe I am the only one, though it is possible that I inherited them from my mother.

Although my eyes seem to be somewhat rare, this is the first time I had been asked about them.

I believe it is because there are so many different kinds of people in the world. Everyone has interesting traits about them!

While that's true none are as immediately apparent as something distinctive in the eyes. [Which are usually the first things he looks at on a person, friend, enemy, or opponent. There are many differently colored eyes in his world too, crimson like his is probably rare too but he's never thought about it.

My father's eyes had green spirals. I do not know whether it holds relation to my own eyes, however.
