[Ventus has been taking those drugs for what? About two weeks or so? Yeah, about two weeks. They weren't so bad, though at first he had trouble sleeping. Now he was okay, and as far as he could tell the drugs were doing what they were supposed to be doing by the reactions of the scientists when he went for his appointments. [Aziraphale is walking back to his shop when he spots Ventus. He's about to call him over when he sees the alien bump into him and then Ventus's clear overreaction. That is very much unlike him. The angel swoops on over, distractedly muttering apologies and miracling the alien whole. He takes Ventus by the arm and leads the boy back into his shop. He finally stops and turns his concerned gaze to him.]

Dear boy, what on Earth was that?

[Ventus had not protested Azi's intervention, following him numbly back into the shop. He went and sat on a stool, shaking a bit and staring at the hand that had punched the alien, his ice cream forgotten back outside.]

Yeah, I do. But I'm just taking some medicine. The guys who give it say it shouldn't do anything bad - maybe make me loose some sleep, but that was all they warned me about.

Oh dear... Medicines can be tricky. Perhaps they didn't disclose all of the side effects or they don't know them all yet. Perhaps you should go back and tell them what happened today.

[He lets out a small sigh.]

If I had my druthers, you'd stop taking that mystery drug at once.
