[Good evening, Thor! If you're bored and flipping through your guide, you may come across the scene of a rather busy dinner show, in a relatively large theatre somewhere. And although you can't see the announcer, you may or may not recognize his voice as one of the ship's many refugees...
Not that it matters. The show is about to begin.]
Welcome

Having no care for the etiquette for televised shows (what's that, even?), Irene spontaneously rises from her seat and glides confidently out onto the dance floor. As she walks she addresses the announcer:]
Clearly, Mister fon Ronsenburg would fare better with a partner. If some classical music could be cued? Thank you.
[Standing before Basch, she smiles up at him.] If I may have this dance, dear?

[He can't help but comment.]

And Wesker is not surprised at all.]

[He'll just watch with assured amusement as the sight unfolds.

[He's not sure how well he'll manage (it's been a LONG time), but he'll...attempt it.]

[Drawing close to him, she whispers up into his ear,]
I'm sure you'll be fine. I'm a strong dancer, so just be calm and follow the beat.

It has been quite some time.
[And a beat, and then:]
...I apologize for our last meeting. It was indiscreet of me.

[She moves her hand in a slight circle on his back, intending it to be a soothing gesture, and smiles easily at him.]
And there is nothing to apologize for. We are both consenting adults, and you were quite the gentleman.
So long as you remember my name, I will not take offence at all. [She winks at that. That time had been their first meeting, and quite the whirlwind it had been.]

[It's spoken softly, as if to say I remember-- politeness on his part, but subtlety as well. He still looks somewhat apologetic, but the music starts and there's really no time for that anymore.
He hesitates, and then takes the first step, and awkward sidestep that's more like a shuffle than anything else.]
