Because she's using her off hand to turn it on as her primary hand is over top a particularly old-looking book of magic in very bad condition. [Marisa's Guide turns on to show a slightly scorched witch, bleeding from the lip, and she nods. Then she shakes her head. Then she furrows her brow and whines before fumbling the Guide.

It clatters to the floor and she starts pulling books toward her. Only instead of grabbing the books, she knocks an entire stack over.]

[Marisa starts pawing through the books, looking for something, before she seems to put her supporting hand down on a small group of unevenly stacked books. Watch as they slip out from under her hand and she falls into the books.

And proceeds to throw one... at the purple thing in the far background not really in focus by the Guide. The book doesn't even make it more than a few feet in the most pathetic display ever accompanied with garbled frustrated words.]
