[The local science channel seems to have acquired a recording of some scientific testing from Thor labs. A scientist is on camera, detailing the results of some of their tests.]
Subject D3142 is still showing considerable resistence to the effects of the taser. We've already increased the voltage well beyond what is considered a safe limit for most beings. In fact, we've had to go back to the drawing board and totally recalibrate the taser for this subject.
The engineers were somewhat reluctant, as they consider this to be a lethal voltage. However, showing them the results of Subject D3142's tests convinced them to try it.
Is everyone ready?
[The camera view changes to show two people sitting at a control panel. In the background, on the other side of the safety glass, Dante is sitting in something that resembles a dentist's chair. He's hooked up to several monitors.
The camera zooms in on him as he gives the scientists a thumbs-up sign.]
Very well. Firing in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Go!
[Two small projectiles hit Dante in the chest, followed immediately by some arc lightning and convulsions. Eventually Dante slumps back in the chair, but after a few seconds he sits up again and chuckles as he pulls the taser wires out.]
Not bad. I think you almost knocked me out that time.
[There's dead silence from the control room for a moment, and then someone speaks.]
... I guess someone needs to tell the engineers to recalibrate again.
