Sherlock...

[John doesn't look happy. Behind him you can see a bedroom that has piles of clutter everywhere - books, a few plants, random stacks of paper, and even miscellaneous lab equipment. He's also holding a jar that seems to be filled with eyeballs.]I've asked you more than once to keep your things out of my room. I told you the next time ( Read more... )

John. Put that down.

[Meaning the jar of eyes, of course.]

It's a very delicate experiment.

[Still holding it.]

Then it shouldn't be in my room now, should it.

And what does it matter if it's in your room or otherwise? The point being that you shouldn't touch it; anything concerning jars and organs, don't touch. Let's make that a sort of blanket rule, shall we?

You want a blanket rule? How about "Anything in John's room that isn't John's will be thrown out."

I've asked nicely, now I'm telling you.

[He feels a strong desire to roll his eyes. So strong, in fact, that he does it.]

Feeling a bit put-off by the tiny things today, are we, John? What's wrong? Wake up on the wrong side of the bed?

It would be difficult to do that when I can't get into my bed in the first place.

Just because I took the overnight shift and spent the night in the clinic does not mean I won't be using my bed here any longer.

[He huffs a little; oh, you sleeping types who want to sleep every night.]

Fine. Then move anything on the bed to the floor. Unless it's in a jar, then move it to the floor slowly. I'll move my items when I return, if it makes you happy.

It would make me very happy.

[He's already shifting piles of stuff to the floor, after placing the eyeball jar down first.]

Should I even ask where you got the eyeballs?

Does it matter? Obviously, whoever they belonged to before no longer needs them. What, do you think I run about plucking people's eyeballs from their skulls when I'm bored?

No, I'm sure I would have heard about an insane eyeball thief by now if that was the case.

Yes, and you know I don't play the part of criminal, John. And even if I did, theft sounds rather dull.

Of course.

Any other body parts or biohazards in general lurking in my room that I should be aware of?

Check under the bed. Should be a another jar under there.

[Is he joking? Why don't you find out.]

[Is that a slight smirk on Sherlock's face? Maybe. What will you find under there, John?

(Possibly like 5 or 6 jars.)]
