[ Stork's job for the month SHOULD be fairly simple. He's a delivery boy for the Lightning Post, which SHOULD consist of handing papers to happy customers and checking their names off an easy-to-read list

[Leo blinks, watching Stork screaming like a madman. He grabs a cracker he had in his pocket and calls the pooch.] Here boy.

[ The pooch slows, wavering between the larger but faster green chew toy and the generously offered tidbit. Stork uses the opportunity to grab hold of a pipe running up the wall, where he clings like a cartoon 'fraidy cat. ]

[And Leo approaches the pooch to let it sniff the treat and when he managed to get its attention, he throws it away, so the dog would leave the... green-alien-thing alone]

Last resort, ya can always kick it.

[ the canine decides that the cookie is more appetizing after all, and trots away with its new treat while Stork continues to quake ]

But that would require getting in range of its teeth!

[And Mello is walking by, checking his guide an d too busy to care about some guy screaming]

[ Stork doesn't measure people's prospective aid by their attention, thankfully. He just sees a possible meat shield savior.

And so he launches himself at Mello. ]

What the fuck?! [Mello now has a green... ... cat-dog-animal-thing-alien clinging to him. ] Get o- [and suddenly there is a pooch at his feet. And Mello proceeds to do the obvious: kick it]

[ Stork, who is all knobby limbs and joints, pokes Mello unidirectionally as he's trying to get away from the canine. ]

[M'gann's just mulling about the general area Stork and his canine (?) companion are about to storm, trying to take a walk to get her mind off certain things... it's safe to say she's probably not paying attention to her surroundings.

[ and with no sense of direction Stork runs right into her -- actually, he runs into the WALL and bounces off that and then into her, so at least he didn't bowl her over at full speed.

and the pooch is coming up on them fast. ]

[luckily, M'gann thinks fast on her feet-or, well... technically not on her feet, as she starts to hover once he collides with her. though she's confused for a bit, she does manage to register the dog coming at them fast, so she levitates Stork right up with her, hopefully out of reach of the dog.]

[ Stork tries vainly to swim in the air, which works about as well as one would expect (not at all) as the hound comes up beneath them and starts yapping and jumping on its short stubby legs, trying to reach them ]
