[ When the video feed starts up, you see the ever-hooded Kasumi wearing a paint-smeared artist's apron and standing in front of a veiled... well, it looks like a veiled rectangular thing mounted on an easel--quite obviously a painting. But there's something amiss: the colors smeared all over her apron are absolutely heinous and you have to wonder how in the world those colors could ever belong on the same canvas. But that's exactly why Kasumi chose them. ]
Greetings, fellow residents of the Thor. Most of you don't know me. I expect I won't be making a very good impression to a lot of you with this, but hey, just doing my job--which I didn't sign up for, actually, but you know how it goes.
Anyway, I've seen a lot of great art over the course of my... career. So imagine me, an avid appreciator of art and culture, suddenly tasked with purposely creating "hideous artwork that shocks people."
Well.
I couldn't pass up the challenge, of course. So, ladies and gents, humans and aliens, I present to you:
[ she takes a step aside, pulling the veil away off of the canvas carefully, and revealing what may well be the most brilliantly hideous of paintings.]
It's entitled, "Ladies-in-waiting." Constructive criticism only, please.
Just kidding. If you have nothing good to say about it, then I've done my job. Wait a second, I forgot to sign it. Oh well.
