Does anyone here celebrate special or commemorative days from home, such as birthdays, holy days, or anniversaries?

What dates do you reckon by?

I guess I celebrate most things like that when they come up.

Is there something coming up? I don't think any Holidays are coming up this month though. Why do you ask?

So the reckoning of days just continues as normal? Would you count from the date when your world ended, or from the day it is by the calendar here?

I think it is normal to ask, so we could know when birthdays and other important days are.

By the calender here. It kind of saves the headache of trying to celebrate things when people aren't. But I keep track of a calender that goes by the date I last knew of from my place.

I guess so. But usually people ask these things because something is coming up. Planning on celebrating a birthday or something?

I see; it makes sense, but it feels like losing time, to me. It's the most logical way to do things, however. Keeping a calendar from the old world seems like a large task, but I may assemble one for my own reference.

I was trying to understand if it is appropriate to celebrate my birthday so soon after it would have been at home. A mere six months' difference doesn't seem fair.

It's for convenience. But if you need help construction a calender of some kind that reflects time passing where you're from, I can help with that. I'd just need to know some dates to get it accurate.

Well, I think for Holidays, it would be weird to celebrate them differently. But for your own Birthday, it probably isn't that weird to celebrate it when it comes up.

When is it? [NOSIEST CHILD.]

I may. I don't care that much about it, to be honest. I ought to just orient myself to this place.

September 15th.

It wouldn't be much of a problem. I could add it to your Guide as a separate calender or something.

That's coming up. You should celebrate it. Grab some friends and do something.

That could be helpful, or the opposite. I'll think about it.

I don't think so.

If you know how to use your Guide, you should be okay. It'll be labeled different to avoid confusions with this calender.

Too late.

I'll do that, if it's easy to keep separate. Thank you.

Too late?

It's no problem. I run out of things to do here a lot, so this gives me something to do on my free time.

Nothing. Hey, I didn't catch your name. Robin.
