[The Guide flickers on to see Midii sitting in the back of a Primary School classroom. As her teacher continues to prattle on about some basic-level mathematical problems, she appears the model student: quiet, focused, and inputting notes from the lesson into her handheld device.]
[Just off-screen, a random boy can be heard trying to get her attention.]
Hey--
Shh!
[She silences him without even looking up.]
[There was a brief pause, as if the boy was put off by her dismissal, before he tries again.]
C'mon, cutie...don't tell me you're actually paying atten--
I said, Shh!
[More silence.]
[Her unseen companion once again fall silent. Either out of jealousy over the tiny machine that currently has her captivated...or sheer curiosity...he leans into view, peeking over her shoulder. The Guide just barely catches a glimpse of his face, roughly the same age as she, twist into a look of surprise]
...is that Mario Kart?
[Hearing his voice so close unexpectedly startles her, and she jumps back. The force simultaneously causes a distinct 'crash' sound to come from her game console...and knocks her Guide to the ground, shutting it off]

Midii is--very unhappily--stuck as a Primary School student as one of her "jobs" this month, and 2. She bought a copy of Mario Kart on last month's planet, and has really, really gotten into it lately....))
