[Operation 08 - Caught the Birdie~] [Video]
[The video feed flickers on to focus on what appears to be a handmade sock-puppet, shaped vaguely like a bird. It's black, bears two beady google-eyes that wobble around as the hand inside moves, and a yellow construction paper beak. It's wearing an adorable felt jacket that has clearly been cobbled together with copious amounts of hotglue, and yet still somehow manages to resemble THIS:
[The sock puppet wobbles its head at the camera, and it begins speaking in a very familiar, high-pitched, computer-modified voice]
Oops, looks like I've been caught!
[The camera pulls back, until Duo's face and shoulders come into view as well. He's grinning.]
And what did we learn today, Kacchan?
[The puppet's beak moves with its reply, and it's obvious Duo is not the one doing its voice, as he continues to grin while the bird speaks]
We learned that Kon Shinonome is a big jerk and that Duo Maxwell is super awesome!
Aww, Kacchan, you're making me blush. But you're right! [He turns his attention from the sock puppet he's holding up to the camera, still grinning, and lifts a finger to emphasize his point.] Kon is a big jerk, and I am pretty damned awesome! It's amazing how you can learn something new every day, isn't it? [He turns back to look at the puppet, which nods in agreement.]
Yup! Amazing!
[And with a final grin from Duo and a bow from the sock puppet, the feed cuts off.]
