This may sound like a strange question, and perhaps I should have asked when everyone was much younger than me.... But is it completely unheard of to eat pancakes with hot sauce? There are other unique ingredients, such as soy sauce, but eating new and interesting things is supposed to be fun, correct

If you'd actually tried one, I'm not so sure you would say they're worth a try. I can say from personal experience that the hotness overpowers the sweetness no matter how little hot sauce is put in.

Wouldn't a plain pancake be best...?

That's what I was thinking, too... th-that a plain one would be best, I mean. But, um, it's kind of fun to try to think of new combinations!

I don't mind trying new things! But when it comes to cooking, when I stray to far from a recipe, I tend to... make a mess of things. After all, I don't think hot sauce is a normal solution to "unique pancakes."
