How much vodka can YOU drink?
[The feed opens with an unaccustomed clatter, and follows with the sounds of a high-pitched voice singing drunkenly about dark moist tunnels and delicious earthworms. This carries on for several minutes before the singing is interrupted - or, more accurately, drowned out - by another voice.]

Fluffums! *cough* You stink! Have you been drinking!?

Fluffums, why is the intercom on?
I dunno....
[There is another clatter and a soft "thump", as of one small, furry body being pushed off of another small, furry body, and the intercom clicks off once more!]

Alright, guys! It's time to party! As poor Captain Fluffums has inadvertently demonstrated, the water filtration system on the Thor has gone seriously screwy! To recap:
Drink up me hearties yo ho!× All tap-water = Vodka
× The event starts now and will end with a follow-up Captain's post on Monday, October 10th.
× Even if the Thor had strictly enforced underage drinking laws ( which it doesn't), said laws couldn't be enforced because it's not like the alcohol is being deliberately provided.
× Unlike with drive events, any "water" bottled and stored by your characters will remain alcoholic after the event wraps up on Monday, because the chemical change was due to mechanical error, and not a result of the Improbability Drive.
× As always if you'd rather your character not be drunk all weekend, there's plenty of unaffected bottled drinking water up for purchase at their local grocery stores...though some of those greedy profiteering alien store owners might decide to hike up water prices for the duration. There's also plenty of pond scum fairly fresh water to be had down on the planet too, so in theory, your character should be able to avoid most or all of the problem all together, should you so choose.

And with that, here's one last reminder to get your September Activity posted, because we're going to be going through this weekend and making our usual monthly results list.
