Regarding the refugees, there won't be much besides the usual regrets and blaming everyone else for their own stupidity. Probably they'll be paranoid for a month or two, but they'll soon forget about it. This whole deal showed everyone else refugees are very relaxed, too trusting and it's really easy to mess with them.

However, in such a huge ship, allowing something like this to happen is abnormal; either Thor doesn't have enough protection regarding the water management and supply or they simply didn't care.

Mess with them or kill them. Water and alcohol taste and smell nothing alike. That anyone would chance it and continue on drinking it is really astounding. Poison could be tried just as easily.

[Another pause for thought.] With as careless as our captains seem to be I'm going to go for that they didn't care. It's a wonder this is the first time this has ever happened. And now that it has, it probably won't be the last. [Which is backwards. They should be more careful now but he knows they won't. Especially with no one complaining. They can basically do whatever the hell they want. Nothing comes of it.]

They pick people up with the message that they are really trying to save them and feed them this story about how the worlds are all destroyed. If they wanted to be merciless jailers, they could be. There's no reason for them not to. They hold all the cards.

I'm starting to believe their behavior is truly genuine. They are morons. There's no conceivable reason for them to act that way. There's nothing they can gain from it.

There is no logic for the Purists to be killing refugees, because refugees can and will be resurrected, yet they still do it. There is also no logic for the Captains to go as far as to keep us alive when we clearly reach for our demise at times [LIKE DRINKING STUFF YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT IS], yet they still do it. There is no reason for them to keep us on Thor when all they want is for us to live, yet they still do it. There is no reason to tell us it's impossible to communicate with ships outside Thor when that is clearly a lie, yet they still do it.

In space, nothing is what it seems to be. Whenever you believe you've figured it out, something new shows up and tells you were wrong.

Don't discard a possibility without knowing the proper answers.
