[she pulls her legs up to his bed, holding them close to her chest while wrapping her arms around them.]

[giving a nod, her eyes travel down to the patterns of his carpet.]

I'm still getting used to the recent changes. It's hard to wrap my mind around that Shinjiro's gone. [she quickly adds;] -- But a real close friend of mine came back some days ago and he was missing for a long time. Having that happen gave me hope again.

[And Shinjiro not being here is exactly why he hasn't said anything to her. Soul's noticed his absence, too.]

His name is Gojyo! You should meet up with him sometime. He's a nice guy and he took care of me when you weren't around.
