Ah- well, you're right, despite the rules meant to reduce injuries, hockey is a very physical game. It certainly wouldn't hurt to have an extra medic there...

Indeed it wouldn't. It also gives me knowledge on where and how to hit others to make them...shall we say...less than effective on the ice.

Well, when you think about it within the boundaries of the rules the players use such basic knowledge to slam their opponents around and cause them to be less effective on the ice.

Or at least...that's how I'm reading into it. Why else would violence like that be permitted?

Hm, from what I have been reading it seems almost as if the rink is almost as much a battlefield as it is a sporting arena.

Still, everything I do will be within the rules, dear.
