I would assume you are probably different from a standard Youkai.

As a matter of fact, yeah, I would be against that. I'm not a lab rat.

Well, it's not being a lab rat per-se...it's more like a "research study."

Oh...Youkai is a bit of a broad term and hard to explain. It mostly is a designation given to preternatural beings who appear human but are most certainly not.

What makes you think I'm not human?

Oh, just an assumption to be honest. Typically, when I hear the exact words "it takes a lot to hurt me" there are a few things I can assume.

The individual in question might be more than human.

The individual in question may have some sort of special ability that negates damage.

The individual in question is extraordinarily lucky. Typically I assume the "non-human" route...since most humans will typically get a bit offended and correct me rather quickly. Assuming one has a special ability doesn't work as well...because whether they do or not they will usually seem rather evasive on the subject.

With extraordinary luck they usually simply don't know why they come out of everything unscathed, but they typically do not speak with such certainty about the subject. Whether you are human or not is of no interest to me, my interest lied with whether or not you'd be interested in a friendly research study. Either way, I deal with Youkai every day...I suppose I automatically lean in that direction now.
