Whenever I have a lot on my mind, my Professor always told me to stay calm and collected. So really, it's my Professor that sounds like your uncle.

It's good advice. Getting worked up usually doesn't solve anything... and even though I know that, it's still hard not to do it. But your professor-must've been smart to give you that advice.
