So you're getting a spectacular view of his chin, mostly, and glimpses of a frown here and there when he moves his head just right as he walks. Mumbling to himself

You responded to me one day and we just started chatting. I found out that you were a writer and I was really excited to read one of your stories.

[Hmm, that doesn't sound like something he'd do... Although a vague memory is starting to come back, so maybe...] Did you ever get to?

No.

I never did get anything written while I was here the last time. And I never checked to see if any of my published works were here, but I highly doubt it.

You think maybe this time around you'll be able to?

[He's certainly got enough angst what with all that memory-dream stuff and now that he's separated from his lover.]

Who knows. I've never written love stories for aliens.

I bet they'll enjoy a love story even if it doesn't involve aliens.

Maybe. Only one way to find out. Fucking sucks having to start from scratch, though.
