[the camera's pointing upwards again, at a pastel-colored ceiling. Some glass tubes can be seen around the edges of the frame, each containing a single flower with a neatly cut stem. Yes, it's a flower shop, where they're apparently vacuum-packed for freshness. And there's Raven, leaning on the counter, with the sort of grin that is usually only seen on the faces of vaguely intoxicated men.]
--ink I've found th' prettiest flower in this whole shop.
[Yes, he's...hitting on the cashier. Though whether she's another human refugee or an alien, it's impossible to tell, since she's not on screen. He would totally stoop that low, though. A quiet feminine voice replies, indistinct.]
No need ta be shy, now; lemme buy ya a drink sometime.
[the reply is a bit louder this time, and he laughs in response.]
Wouldn't want him jealous now, would we. [Shot down fairly fast, but he doesn't seem terribly phased.] Tell ya what--I'll buy somethin' fer yer trouble.
[Raven glances around for a moment, then the friendly smile fades. He stares at something past the Guide for a moment, then reaches over it, his sleeve briefly obscuring the view. When it draws back, he's holding a slender blossom that resembles a lily in shape, except that its petals are a fiery orange-red. He turns it in his hands, wearing a thoughtful, almost wistful...maybe even sad expression.]
...how much fer this one?
[He hands over the money, then turns to pick up his Guide from the counter, noticing it's on. He gives it a look, complete with raised eyebrows, as if to say "I see what ya did there", before turning it off.]
