[There's a faint crackling and the sound of a few slides, thumps and whumps. There might have been a couple of frantic squeaks as well, but so minute that they probably don't matter. The PA system screeches horribly, as if someone dropped the microphone. A few more moments pass before the message begins, first in a series of squawks, and then shifting abruptly to a distinctly British accent.]
Wark wark wark SQUAAWWWK wa-at a probability of one to nine to the 2,935th power against. SQUAAAAAWWWK. I repeat. We have arrived at the moon 'Chang Er', albeit in an altered state, at a probability of one to nine to the 2,935th power against. All passengers aboard the S.S. Thor are advised to consult their Guides in the proper use of a towel in the event of the sudden-SQUAAAAAWWK-Antarcticization of a flagship. To you ninnies who've sold, lost, or otherwise separated themselves from their Guide, we've decided to have a little bit more mercy on you this time, and provide you all with-WAAARRRRK-coats and emergency food. Those of you with towels and Guides are more than welcome to apply for your supplies the usual way.
If you happen to see an orca whale or two on your way to work this morning, be a peach, please unbeach. If you see a sea leopard, please do your best to waddle, slide or otherwise-KUWEEEHWEHWEEEHHH-remove yourself from the general area as quickly as possible. But remember, don't panic.
We expect to return to normality soon. Have a KUWWEEEEHHHH nice day!

Finally! Our first event!
Just as the announcement said-- there are such things as killer whales and sea leopards out and about, but if you keep yourself out of their way, you'll be fine. Of course, half of the characters here are mentally handicapped in one way or another, so that may be a moot point. orz
The dolphin pool is open for swimming, and you can count on the dolphins to protect fellow prey from killer whales, sea leopards...? If you were good to the dolphins before, then it should be all right. If not... then swim quickly.
You'll ALL still be required to go to work and perform well... so do your best!
All of the ships' systems still work, including elevators and the like. You'll probably just find yourself sharing them with a bunch of Antarctic animals. It's just a lot icier, snowier, and slippery. If your character wants to get out of the cold, the gardens are always climate controlled, so they can take refuge there.
The Guides will have text saying that to use a towel in an Antarctic situation, you'll want to wrap it around your head and mouth, making sure to cover as much as possible. If it's long enough, or if you have multiple towels, hands and feet are next. Otherwise, use gloves and boots like some sort of primitive caveman.
If your character doesn't want to wait in line [...and who can blame 'em?], they can pretend to have lost their Guide to receive the free aid.
