Ah, where's the Guide-? I could've sworn I put it in my pocket earlier, and now I can't find it- oh, here it is!
[There's a bunch of scuffles as the Guide gets shuffled back and forth before coming to rest in his hand.] Oh, uh- I have a question for some of you! [You can hear Shin moving along from place to place, it seems like he's busy with either work or going somewhere.]
I just remembered that the month is almost over, and July's coming really soon- and while that doesn't mean much for the Thor, I'd like to think it means a lot to people on Earth! In Japan, during July, we had a holiday called "Tanabata," in which we celebrated the one time the space prince and princess were able to meet, after being separated across the galaxy for the entire year. It was Japan's annual star festival.
[He shifts the Guide and pauses, the sounds of a crowd passing by.]
People would dress in yukata and kimono's, and write tanzaku, or strips of paper that had their own wishes on them. Then they would hang them on bamboo, and pray for a good day, so the prince and princess could see each other once again.
So... I was wondering. I know the Thor has a park, and I know this is a bit sudden, and it might take a bit of planning and a lot of help but- would anyone like to celebrate it with me? It's fun for one person, of course, but company and friends always make things a lot more interesting and memorable, too! And I think the ship needs something good to celebrate, for once.
