Updated with five sources discussing two Portuguese-language monastic sign lists (one is 15th c. the other is 16th.)

I'd read that there were two Portuguese lists, but you inspired me to get off my bum and find a transcription of them! :)

...and then I found interesting articles comparing the Portuguese lists with lists from other places and times, and eventually I had five sources that were worth sharing.
