Spring Fix

I was really looking forward to bluebell season, as there's a bank of trees near my house that should be full of them. Unfortunately the daffodils have taken over and there were hardly any this year which sucks.

However, yesterday I took the dog for a walk to somewhere random we'd never been before, and found a little old woodland full of

see Tom is showing his townie roots. I would never call those bluebells they are the american immitations.

One of the places I lived as a child was near a wonderful bluebell wood. One of the reason I dislike roderbendruns so much was the way they were gradually smothering out that wood having escaped from the nearby manor house's gardens. I always get a bit down this time of year living in a city.. a part of me thinks I should be walking up to those woods..

we have lots of woods within about 10 minutes drive of us if you want to go for a walk do :P

And I do know the difference between the 2 types of blue bells ( I believe ryton last year had english bluebells as well as crackley woods)
