today i played two shows. the first was my regular brunch gig, which provided me with some pocket money and, as always, bloody marys for breakfast. i got to play my mellophone as well as my bass, and it was cathartic. the second was in tompkins square park for a crowd of - you know those people who frequent that place, and are adorable. i played
