For something more philosophical and profound check today's earlier post, but....I have to write this down because it's too important to me not to share.

I started my first day volunteering today.  And for the most part it was fine.  There was quite a motley little crew of kids, more than enough to keep me, the sensei, and the other senpai (Chris)

I don't think so, either. He's so defensive and....lonely, it seems like. So proud and tough, but...I don't think many people take care of him. It makes me want to help him out.

I don't know how to tell you this, and maybe LJ isn't the place, but this story - whether you realize it or not - just reveals everything about you that is so inherently good, and what makes me thank god that you're a part of my life now. I can see it all in my head, and that makes me smile and....you're such a good human being with such an amazing heart. I adore, I *adore*, your heart. And all I want to prove to you is somehow that nice guys don't always finish last. :)

You deserve nothing but the best of everything. I hope I can be a part of that.
