it breaks my heart that parents can do this to their children. it really does. you are a lovely person. you have great heart and you are so caring and giving. it is so hard to see your family not return that type of love to you. you definitely deserve better.
when you have the opportunity to be a parental figure in someone's life - go for it. like with tariq. you could change that kid's life and give him something his parents can't - attention.

I am, absolutely. I know my parents believe they did the best they could, but... I don't know. It sucks not to have that support around. It really does.

Hey, I read your posts. I'm so sorry you're havin' a tough time right now. I guess everybody's due a shitty day every now and then, but that doesn't help it much. If you need to talk, you know where you can find me on the internets...
Anyway, I'm thinkin' of you. I know it hurts to lose somebody, and as for the job thing - jesus do I understand. I applied for jobs in the states for TWO YEARS and was told I didn't have enough experience. But you can't get any if they won't let you have it. But fuck them. You're good at what you do, and if you don't advance here, you will elsewhere. I have faith in your abilities.
