Good capture of Michael in this, sort of like a newborn in a way with no experience, no understanding of humans and love. Sometimes I get mad when I think of what our heroes did to him, and I know all about their motivation, but it's like they made a clone for their own selfish reasons and then kept it from it/him. Sorry, a little off tangent there, but your fic made me think. I like fics that do that. :) Nice one.

There is not enough Michael fic out there...another good author to try is echelon_ga_l, although she mostly does artwork. But all of her SGA stuff inspires me. So yeah, that's why this is dedicated to her.

He's totally innocent at the start when he wakes up in atlantis, so when he sees Sheppard kiss the woman like that, it makes him want that, but unsure how to go about it, so he compares everything to sheppard. Until Carson, that is.
