Ohhh, that was definitely worth the wait!

A little bit of angst and both characters right on spot.

Yeah, Carson never seemed to be hyper to have the gene, unlike Rodney. For Rodney it's a chance, opening a new galaxy of possibilities - as we see in "Hide and seek". He's not afraid to try things. Whereas Carson is a bit more sceptical about the gene. It's nothing he can influence, and especially in "Rising" I get the impression he wished he didn't have the gene.

Nice interpretation of why Carson was reluctant to go sit on the chair!

Wonderful! Love all of Rodney's raw anger at not having the gene, and Carson wanting to give it to him so desperately!
