IT’S A CONCERT POST. WOOHOO, AND VARIOUS OTHER EXCLAMATIONS OF GLEE!

I don’t know if you guys know, but I’ve been to…uh, a great many concerts this year. Four concerts alone in the last three weeks of August, two in September, one in early October. Because I’m fucking awesome! And poor! So very poor, you can probably hear my wallet screaming.

oh 1D have stage presence alright, it just so happens that their version of stage presence is acting as gay as possible and climbing all over each other and just being generally adorable dorks which i am more then ok with so yeah XD

Dude, I completely disagree. I ship their gayness all over tumblr, but I honestly thought they put on one of the lamest shows I've ever seen live. They don't project their voices (and we were in the third row, so I can't imagine how much it sucked for people way in the back), they sort of awkwardly tumble all over the stage, and the gayness honestly does not make up for that if you're paying money to see them, imho. As much as I'm into shipping, I go to shows for the music's sake, and I was not even a little impressed with 1D.

ok, ok, i see your point, i wouldn't pay money to see them cuz i'm not fond of their songs, but they are such awkward tumbly little puppies that i really can't fault them for anything, but maybe they've gotten better since then? idk lol

Not from what I've seen. They sucked hard during the closing ceremonies for the Olympics, and I do like their music (to a certain degree, anyway). But the general opinion seems to be they're hot, so who cares, let's fork over cash. Idek, it makes me irrationally angry.

On the other hand, all the 1D bashers also make me irrationally angry, so I'm in that weird love/hate middleground.

You forgot the part where we chugged a beer in your car pre PNC concert and how I was almost run down by Cody Simpson minions who love his lady blazers :P

I know Ingrid Michelson! I've have her music, this is an amazing thing since I have no music ever. But I have her. I'm proud over here lol.

I DID. Dear Livejournal, we chugged TWO beers in the parking lot pre-concert, like the delinquents that we are. And then Courtney nearly died. ♥

Yaaaaay! Dude, if she's ever in NYC, we should go see her again. Her concert wasn't that expensive (about the same price as Marina) and she was ADORABLE. She kept telling this story about cuddling with strangers on the subway and mean girls and I was like MARRY ME.
