Loved it! It's hard to find fics that capture the real RayK and Fraser, and you totally did it!

I love Rays freak out, it's so like him!

I really really enjoyed reading this. I'm really excited that you're writing for Due South - I'm been feeling nostalgic for my first fandom! I always love it when Fraser is stuck in the mindset where he thinks he's not quite worthy of having the love he needs so desperately - but then of course getting it in the end. And I loved the bit where Fraser was frustrated because he couldn't see Ray to read his body language. This made a lot of sense to me. I think of Ray as a very physical person, and of course Fraser would have learned to read him well.

I'm so pleased you've gotten to love these two. I was afraid they didn't grab you enough to make you want to write something, but then I remembered something another fan said to me: something like "it takes at least 10,000 words just to get Fraser into bed, half the time." So then I didn't worry. I just wanted for a nice long story to appear, and now it has! This was lovely. I hope you're still inspired! Thanks for a really good read.

Hey, great :) I'm really pleased to hear you enjoyed it! And I couldn't help smiling at that comment about needing 10,000 words to get Fraser into bed. I've had a few different ideas for stories since discovering Due South, but every single one of them would need at least 20,000 words to tell! I don't know what it is about these two, but they make me want to write epic-length fic. Actually I've been concentrating on the longer fic while reading too...

Time right now doesn't allow me to leave the detailed comments this deserves. I'm bookmarking this on AO3 for a later reread and detailed comments.

Hey, I enjoyed this a lot! Throwing us into confusion in the beginning that way really cranked up the tension as to what was going on.

Yay, glad you liked it! Good to hear you thought there was plenty of tension, too. I love suspense, but of course when you're trying to write it it's hard to know whether it's working or not...
