I must admit I have deliberately avoided reading One Step Too Close but after reading your thoughts on it here I think I may try it.

I really enjoyed The Big Wheel Affair and I loved The Golden Bird ^_^

To be honest, I would also usually avoid reading a fic that started with the warning I put at the start of One Step Too Close ;)
