sometimes parachutes dont open. they have to be packed exactly right. there are lots of cases where people die from sky diving all over the place. and ive researched the fatality rate on the internet for bungee jumping...i didnt find a single one...and that rope actually consists of about 20 1-inch diameter ropes.
