Knowing your love of adverbs.......slowly, tortuously, agonizingly, painfully... You get the general idea. I've been spending a lot of time staring at a blank screen. Ye God, I hate re-writes. You've been busy, what news of the book? Is it safely off to the tender loving hands of the publisher?
LOL No infact I've got a note from my instructor asking for my last assignment since it's 2 weeks late :)
See when you spend your weekends going to football games and playing a school teacher...you don't get much writing done and work this week has been crazy...add in a funeral and well my instructor can just wait. I'll finish it up this weekend. Get it in the mail monday. Then start printing the entire manuscript. Hopefully with in the next month I'll be sending it out.
In the mean time I've been brainstorming for the next idea :)
Ahhh adverbs hehehe Yeah I REALLY don't like them. And I get your revising dread...I know the feeling.
Don't get too discourage. If you want send what you have and I'll read it and give you some comments and maybe that'll help get you on a role?

That's the problem, I have nothing to send. I've gutted the darn thing and every rewrite has been, well to call it crap would be defaming crap. The dialogue is flat, the descriptions are muddy and the characters might work for a Saturday morning cartoon. On a happy note however, there are eight chapters of it. Don't mind me, I'm just having a little author's freak out this morning, I'm shelving it for the day and I'll look at it tomorrow. Maybe I can be less critical then, everyone who has read what I have likes it, I'm just being hard to please today. That was a lovely tribute to your Aunt Regina, by the way. I wish I could have known her. Sounds like a lady who the world will truly miss. *hug*
