In Case You're Wondering

The new userpic is about NANOWRIMO. A friend told me about this mutual insanity society that attempts to induce writers to be even crazier than normal. From 12:01 AM on November 1, 2005 until 11:59 PM on November 30, 2005 I and several thousand fellow nut jobs will be attempting to write 50,000 word novels. Yes folks a 50,000 word novel written in ( Read more... )

Heh, my ex has done NaNo for the last 3 years and will be doing it again this year I guess, so there's some company for you. :/

Good luck with it sweetie, it's tough, but I know that you'll do an awesome job. :)

Heh, unfortunately all my plot bunnies have run away (well, apart from the ones for the Masquerade Series, but that's different) so maybe next year. Oh that and writing anything longer than 5,000 words scares me shitless.

Oooo The Return Of The Greggo !!!! garretelliot October 24 2005, 23:08:44 UTC
Scares me too but I figure the adrenaline rush will make me write faster. Besides if I can accomplish this, my novel that is in its third re-write will look like a piece of cake.

I sent you an E with something to steam up the windows. Let me know how you like it.

Thanks for the good luck wishes, I'm going to need them, big time. I've written my rareathon challenge story and there's no time frame for the fanfic100 stuff so my decks are clear for Nano. All I can say is 'Hail Mary Full of Grace'.

Ahh that would never work for me though I find it fascinating. I don't like a time table (plus I'm not one that needs a time table) Two my children's novels usually only range between 35,000-45,000 words :)) And three I don't have the time! hehehe But I will be thinking of all of you guys as you attempt to drive yourselves batty and insane :)

PS I'm going to read the stuff you sent today! Promise. Life's gotten in the way.
