Today was my first day of work. It was quite exciting, actually. I had to remove my eyebrow ring, but the closest places either didn't have a piercer in, weren't answering the phone, or claimed not to do piercings. Finally I found a place and got it removed about an hour before I had to show up for work

This sounds quite interesting. Damnit, I'm gonna be jeleous of you now. Here you are putting film through projectors; and here I am putting cheese on pizza... dressing on salads... and sorting forks from spoons from knives. meh. oh well.
