[ Junpei is stocking backroom shelves at the pokemart. It's not so bad, since he's got Tris and Hermes to help. Like any good teenager, he's got his gear on while he works. ]

How's the new job?

In most ways, my world is far more technologically advanced than this world. We don't have miniaturization technology or whatever allows us to store matter as electronic data, but we do have other things. The most telling is the fact that we have colonies out in space, on the moon, and even on Mars.

Whoa. Really? Like on the actual moon and Mars and everything? That's insane. Have you ever been out in space?

I was born in space. I had never even set foot on Earth until I was in my mid-teens.

Well, it was a fairly comfortable place.

[Pause.] To be honest, it's pretty ordinary.

That's... pretty vague.

[A chuckle.] There's not a lot to say. Besides, I don't have much to compare it to.

There has to be something more you can say other than it's "ordinary" and "comfortable".

My world had a lot of flowers... There were happy times, and sad times, but I really liked it there.

Um, what about your world?

That sounds pretty nice. What kinda flowers?

It's pretty much average for the most part, I guess. I'm from Tatsumi Port Island, Japan.

All sorts! There was this one kind I really liked-- they were the kind that the butterflies landed on after they finished migrating. I can't really say the name, though...

Japan! Wow, I've always wanted to go there!

Sounds like a picture out of a storybook.

I can't really compare it to much but I liked it there. Any particular reason you wanna go there?
