[ There's a frantic-looking Yukari on the SFC screen. She's somewhere outside, near the Volo Dorms where she lives, and though she's not really wearing anything different than she normally would, something is still noticeably different about her. She's scratching the back of her neck a bit. ]

A lot of people have been broadcasting about changes in their physical appearance or new powers they've suddenly acquired, so you're definitely not alone.

[Haruhi's undergone some changes herself... though she doesn't know the half of it yet.]

If I had to guess, I think a curse week would be the only logical explanation for all of this... illogical stuff going on.

Yeah, I noticed that, actually, when I started tuning in to the other feeds. I can't believe we got hit with another one already--I'm still recovering from the last one.

[ Wow! She looks just like one of those magical girls from the manga that Junpei liked to read so much. She won't say anything though. She's never seen her before, so for all she knows, this is what she always looks like. She just sighs, trying to smile. ]

So, er--are you still discovering some powers yourself, then?

Yeah, it can be pretty hard to adjust to some of the weird things that happen here... On the other hand I'm kind of used to dealing with crazy, unrealistic events and changes on a daily basis thanks to Host Club.

[THAT'S CAUSE SHE IS A MAGICAL GIRL. Only she doesn't know it yet. BUT AT SOME POINT SHE WILL UNDERGO A MAGICAL TRANSFORMATION INTO A SAILOR SCOUT.... Oh the anticipation.]

Not really...? I mean, I just woke up and suddenly my hair's longer and my clothing has reversed back to the way it was in middle school... but I haven't found anything other than that to be different.

Ohhh, are you part of the Host Club, too, then? I went to that event you guys had a while back, at the Gardens--I don't think I saw you there, though.

[ A pause, as she thinks. ]

Just Kyouya and Tamaki-kun--heh, I'm glad I was able to snap a picture of that cake before he came out of it.

[ And she saw Minato and Ryoji, as well of course. But they lived together, and only just learned that they were part of the Host Club. So she doesn't exactly associate them with it just yet. ]

Huh. Well, that's too bad. Your change in appearance must mean something though. I'm sure you'll discover something sooner or later.

Well, you probably didn't recognize me because I don't usually dress like a girl look like this.

[Oh god. You had to bring up the cake incident. Cue the automatic line face.]

He can be such an idiot sometimes-- Er, I mean... Tamaki-senpai likes to think up these really... creative entrances.

[A beat.]

I don't think I can do anything special, to be honest.

I guess so. There were a lot of people there, too...

[ She thinks back towards everyone she ran into over there; some she recognized, some she didn't. Her face does seem kind of familiar, now that she thinks about it and takes a good luck, though she really can't place it. Hmmmmm. S-s'all right, though, they're talking now, and that's what matters. ]

Hah. Yeah, I'll say. He...certainly has a flair for the dramatic, huh?

B-but, eh... [ She waves a hand lightly, a gust of wind blowing in front of her face, as she considers that last statement. ] Hey, normal is good sometimes, you know? Besides...this weird air thing is, uh, pretty annoying hard to control.

[A sigh. Just thinking about Tamaki's dramatic stunts is making her tired.]

Normal is good... it's just hard to come by at the host club.

[The wind thing is pretty cool, though. :|a]

Weird air thing, hm? Have you been able to find anyone who knows what sort of power it is?

[ A smile of understanding then, at that, as she nods. Heh, normal is hard to come by among her group of friends, too--namely that they weren't normal to begin with, even without Vatheon or Curses or other crazy things. ]

Oh--yeah, actually. I spoke with a guy earlier named Sokka and apparently it's called airbending. He can't do it himself, but apparently he's got a friend who can.

[ A sigh. ]

Of course, the friend isn't here, so I can't ask--

Oh...and pink-haired girl named Kim also got the same powers. She says I could even fly a bit with them! Or...glide. [ She scratches her head a little. ] I've been a little afraid to try, though.

Huh... well, you won't know unless you try. You only have these powers for about a week after all, right?

[Please lord don't be longer than a week.]

Maybe the other girl can help you learn how... if you want to, that is.

Yeah--or at least, that's how long it was last time. S-still...

[ She ponders a bit, thinking maybe....she's got a point? It could be dangerous; she could fall, hurt herself or worse. But who knows if she'd ever have a chance to try these powers again? ...she's still timid about it, but she scratches her head a bit, wavering.

Then, she looks at her and realizes-- ]

Oh, yeah--er, my name's Yukari, by the way. What's yours?

That's usually the length of time these things tend to last...

[Oh. Derp.]

Ah, I'm Haruhi Fujioka. It's nice to meet you, Yukari-chan.

Ah. Y-yeah, it's nice to meet you, too.

[ Yukari looks at her hands just then, seeing the faint arrow tattoos that were now painted on them, and all down her arms. Sokka had said that his friend had them, too, so this is just part of the deal, she supposes. ]

Um, thanks. For the encouragement.

[ She's not sure it was intentional. She's not even sure she'll go with it, or simply let the Curse pass by without fuss.

But still, it's nice to hear. Even if it is only just for a week. ]
