Having clothes designed exactly how you need them to be is definitely a good investment!
The Oblongs is a fantastic show! It's based of a book called "Creepy Susie." I own it and it is just as warped. A lot of the characters in the book's mini-stories show up in the cartoon. Good times.

i noticed in the credits that the stories were based on creepy susie. i was going to try and find a copy for myself this weekend. i love love love the meloncholy death of oyster boy and i even own the "robot boy" lunch box. hee.
i can't tell you how excited i am right now about this tuxedo. it's a little scary though because i'm just going on ideas and accents, i have no idea what this suit is going to look like. haha. i love wearing nice clothes but i generally don't because i can't find anything off the wrack that fits so i just don't wear it. casual clothes tend to cling more and bend to the will of my body.

Definitely check out the "Creepy Susie" book. And if you don't mind Amazon.com, just search "creepy susie" and you will be presented with a wonderful list of twisted reading material, which include delightful illustrations! ::L::
Cute lunchbox, I bet! I am ever so fond of my Kill Bill lunchbox with matching thermos ^_^
You reasons for not getting dress clothes off the rack are the same as mine; the fit is awful. I tend to swim in dress clothes. Sucktacular.
it is an amazing price and i've seen some of his stuff. it looks fantastic. he's a really great down to earth guy who has some really cool philosophies about fashion vs style.
he does travel all over actually the world actually. he doesn't advertise and only meets by appointment.
Ya know... you could probably find something similar for the same amount of money up here, in Canadian dollars, and use the money you save to cover the cost of your ticket.

Well then, I hope you're at least gonna put up pictures of your gorgeous self in that overpriced American tuxedo of yours.
Pretty please? ;_;
